Theoretical modeling of substellar atmospheres
Our theoretical efforts focus on building comprehensive physical models to simulate the structure, chemistry, and radiative transfer in the atmospheres of substellar objects. We develop open-source codes like PICASO and Virga to support the scientific community.
These models allow us to explore the parameter space of planetary atmospheres, from ultra-hot Jupiters to temperate Earth-sized worlds, providing a theoretical framework for interpreting future observations.
